ROAD TRANSPORT (MASS, DIMENSIONS AND LOADING) ACT 2009 (NO. 22 OF 2009) - SECT 310

Offence—fail to comply with direction to stop vehicle or combination

    (1)     A person commits an offence if—

        (a)     the person is subject to a direction under section 309; and

        (b)     the direction has not ceased to be operative under section 309 (4); and

        (c)     the person fails to comply with the direction.

Maximum penalty: 50 penalty units.

    (2)     An offence against this section is a strict liability offence.
