(1) A drover travelling stock shall not, if requested to do so by an inspector or a police officer, or the occupier of any land on which the stock is being travelled, without reasonable excuse, fail to produce the permit issued in respect of the movement of that stock.
Penalty: $500.
(2) A drover is not required to comply with subsection (1) if, on being requested to do so, the inspector fails to produce to the drover his or her identity card.
