STOCK ACT 2005 (NO. 19 OF 2005) - SECT 43

Offences relating to impounded stock

    (1)     A person commits an offence if the person releases or interferes with impounded stock.

Maximum penalty: 10 penalty units.

    (2)     A person commits an offence if the person damages a fence or other structure securing impounded stock.

Maximum penalty: 10 penalty units.

    (3)     An offence against this section is a strict liability offence.
