SCHOOLS AUTHORITY (AMENDMENT) ACT 1997 (NO. 18 OF 1997) - SECT 4

4. Section 4 of the Principal Act is amended by inserting the following definition:“ ‘corporal punishment' means physical force applied to punish or correct, and includes any action designed or likely to cause physical pain or discomfort taken for such a purpose;”.
