WASTE MANAGEMENT AND RESOURCE RECOVERY ACT 2016 (NO. 51 OF 2016) - SECT 111

A person commits an offence if—

        (a)     the person carries out a waste activity; and

        (b)     the activity is prescribed by regulation; and

        (c)     the person does not have the waste manager's written consent to carry out the activity.

Note 1     The waste manager may exempt people and activities from a provision of this Act (see s 67).

Note 2     A reference to an Act includes a reference to the statutory instruments made or in force under the Act, including any regulation (see Legislation Act

, s 104).

Maximum penalty: 100 penalty units.
