Rabbit Destruction (Amendment) Ordinance 1986

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Ordinance under the Seat of Government (Administration) Act 1910.

An Ordinance to amend the Rabbit Destruction Ordinance 1919

Short title

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Rabbit Destruction (Amendment) Ordinance 1986.1

2. After section 47 of the Rabbit Destruction Ordinance 19192 the following sections are inserted:

Determination of fees

“47A. The Minister may, by notice in writing published in the Gazette, determine fees for the purposes of this Ordinance.

Payment of fees

“47B. A fee determined under section 47A is payable to the Commonwealth in relation to the relevant matter specified in the notice referred to in that section, being a matter in respect of which the Minister may make regulations.”.
