HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY (ELECTION) REGULATIONS (AMENDMENT) (NO. 10 OF 1986)

TABLE OF PROVISIONS

           

Regulation 25 of the House of Assembly (Election) Regulations is amended by inserting after sub-regulation (1) the following sub-regulation:

“(1A) Notwithstanding sub-regulation (1), in respect of the period commencing on the day on which this sub-regulation takes effect and ending at the expiration of 31 December 1986, the Minister may—

(a) give a direction for the holding of an election; and

(b) in connection with that election, appoint dates for the purposes referred to in sub-regulation (1),

at any time during that period.”.
