PUBLICATIONS CONTROL REGULATIONS (NO. 12 OF 1989)


TABLE OF PROVISIONS

   1.      These Regulations may be cited as the Publications Control Regulations.  
   2.      In these Regulations, “the Ordinance” means the Publications Control Ordinance 1989.  
   3.      (1) A restricted publications area shall be so constructed that no part of the interior of the area is visible to any person outside the area.  
   4.      For the purposes of subsection 28 (2) of the Ordinance, a notice shall contain the words “RESTRICTED PUBLICATIONS AREA—PERSONS UNDER EIGHTEEN YEARS OF AGE MAY NOT ENTER. THE PUBLIC IS WARNED THAT SOME MATERIAL DISPLAYED HEREIN MAY CAUSE OFFENCE.” written clearly in legible letters, being letters not less than 15 millimetres in height and of a colour that contrasts with the colour of the background of the notice.  
   5.      Each college of technical and further education in the Territory and each of the following is a prescribed body for the purposes of subsection 38 (2) of the Ordinance:
