Agents Amendment Regulation 2007 (No 1)


Outline


The intention of this amendment is to exempt the Havelock Housing Association Inc, and its employees, from having to have a real estate agents licence for its activities in providing tenancy management on behalf of ACT Housing for low-income earners.

Regulation Notes


Regulation 1 - Name of regulation – provides that the regulation is the Agents Amendment Regulation 2007 (No 1).

Regulation 2 – Commencement – provides that the regulation commences on the day after its notification.

Regulation 3 – Legislation amended – provides that the regulation amends the Agents Regulation 2003.

Regulation 4 – Inserts new regulation 5C – provides that the Agents Act 2003 does not apply to the Havelock Housing Association Inc or to a person who, as an employee of Havelock Housing Inc, provides a real estate service.
