BOOKMAKERS ACT 1985 (REPEALED) - SECT 39T

(1)     Upon an application under section 39S, the Committee may grant a sports betting agent's licence to the person nominated in the application, subject to this section.

(2)     The Committee may only grant a sports betting agent's licence to a person nominated in an application if the agent—

        (a)     holds a standing licence; and

        (b)     satisfies the suitability requirements.

(3)     A licence shall specify the date of its expiry, being the date of expiry of the head licence, or such earlier date as may be applied for.
