If a society in making, guaranteeing or raising any loan, or in receiving any
deposit, contravenes any provision of this Act, the civil rights and
liabilities of the society or any other person in relation to the recovery of
the loan or deposit shall not be affected or prejudiced by the contravention,
save that the money shall become immediately payable and the same remedies may
be had for the recovery of the loan or deposit and for the enforcement of any
security for it as if there had been no contravention of the Act.
