ELECTRICITY SUPPLY ACT 1997 (REPEALED) - SECT 40 40. An electricity supply arrangement is unenforceable by any person (other than a retail customer under a customer supply contract) unless, at the time the arrangement was made, the supplier was authorised by a licence to enter into it.
