FOOD ACT 1992 (REPEALED) - SECT 24B

Sale of eggs

A person shall not expose eggs for sale or sell eggs unless packaged with a conspicuous label that indicates, by means of a prescribed expression, the conditions under which the hens that produced the eggs are kept.

Maximum penalty: 50 penalty units, imprisonment for 6 months or both.
