WALTER OSWALD WATT MEMORIAL FUND ACT 1938


TABLE OF PROVISIONS

           Long Title

   1.      This Act may be cited as the Walter Oswald Watt Memorial Fund Act 1938.1  
   2.      In this Act, unless the contrary intention appears—“the College” means the Royal Military College at Duntroon, in the Australian Capltal Territory; “the Fund” means the sum of Five hundred pounds (together with accretions thereto) referred to in the Preamble to this Act; “the income” means the income arising from the investment of the Fund, and includes accrued income; “the Will” means the Will of the late Walter Oswald Watt which is referred to in the Preamble to this Act.  
   3.      Where, in any year, the income is more than sufficient to purchase one pair of field glasses, the amount of the excess income, or any part thereof, may be expended on the purchase of a second pair of field glasses to be given as a second prize to the cadet attending the College who in that year writes the second best essay dealing with any aspect of military aviation or aeronautics.
