The Parliament of Australia enacts:

1  Short title

  This Act is the Independent Parliamentary Expenses Authority

(Consequential Amendments) Act 2017.

2  Commencement

(1)  Each provision of this Act specified in column 1 of the table

commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with

(a) documents requesting that the Authority give personal advice under 

paragraph 12(1)(a) or (p) of the Independent Parliamentary Expenses 

Authority Act 2017; and 

(b) any other documents that concern the performance of a function 

conferred on the Authority by paragraph 12(1)(a) or (p) of that Act.
