1 Short title

This Act may be cited as the Public Governance, Performance and

Accountability (Consequential Modifications of Appropriation Acts

(Parliamentary Departments)) Act 2014.

2 Commencement

(1) Each provision of this Act specified in column 1 of the table
6
commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with
7
column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect
8
according to its terms.

does not occur.

Principal Act means the Appropriation (Parliamentary Departments)

2 Section 3 (definition of Agency)

The Principal Act applies as if the definition of Agency (including the

note) in section 3 of that Act were omitted and the following definition

were substituted:

Agency means:

(a) a non-corporate Commonwealth entity within the meaning of
13
the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act
14
2013; or
15
(b) the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission; or
16
(c) the Australian Human Rights Commission; or
17
(d) the Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines
18
Authority; or
19
(e) the Australian Securities and Investments Commission; or
20
(f) the Clean Energy Regulator; or
21
(g) the Corporations and Markets Advisory Committee; or
22
(h) the High Court of Australia; or
23
(i) the Independent Hospital Pricing Authority; or
24
(j) the Murray-Darling Basin Authority; or
25
(k) the National Health Performance Authority; or

(l) the National Offshore Petroleum Safety and Environmental

Accountability Act 1997" in the definition of Special Account in

section 3 of the Principal Act were omitted and "Public Governance,

Performance and Accountability Act 2013" were substituted.
