The Parliament of Australia enacts:

1 Short title

This Act may be cited as the Personal Property Securities
5
Amendment (Deregulatory Measures) Act 2014.

2 Commencement

(1) Each provision of this Act specified in column 1 of the table
8
commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with
9
column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect
10
according to its terms.

1 Definitions

In this Part:

amending Act means the Personal Property Securities Amendment
10
(Deregulatory Measures) Act 2014.

2 Application of amendments relating to serial numbered goods
12
Despite the amendments made by items 4 and 5 of Schedule 1 to
13
the amending Act, this Act continues to apply, in relation to leases
14
and bailments of goods entered into before the commencement of
15
those items, as if those amendments had not been made.
