A Bill for an Act to amend the Sydney Airport Demand
Management Act 1997, and for related purposes
The Parliament of Australia enacts:
This Act may be cited as the Sydney Airport Demand Management
Amendment Act 2001.
This Act commences on the day on which it receives the Royal
Assent.
Each Act that is specified in a Schedule to this Act is amended or
repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any
other item in a Schedule to this Act has effect according to its
terms.
1 At the end of Part 1
Add:
Part IIIA of the Trade Practices Act 1974 has effect subject
to this Act.
2 After subsection 35(1)
Insert:
(1A) The Scheme may deal with the allocation of slots for specified
categories of aircraft movements.
