The Parliament of Australia enacts:

1 Short title

This Act may be cited as the Sex Discrimination Amendment

(Boosting Superannuation for Women) Act 2014.

2 Commencement

This Act commences on the day after this Act receives the Royal
8
Assent.

employee in respect of that employer.

41C Increased employer superannuation contributions

Nothing in Division 1 or 2 makes discrimination by an employer
13
against a female employee unlawful if the discrimination:
14
(a) is on the ground of the employee's sex; and
15
(b) involves the employer making an employer superannuation
16
contribution for the benefit of the employee that is more than
17
that otherwise required by law.
