The Parliament of Australia enacts:

1 Short title

This Act may be cited as the Trade and Foreign Investment

(Protecting the Public Interest) Act 2014.

2 Commencement

This Act commences on the day after this Act receives the Royal

Assent.

The Commonwealth must not, on or after the commencement of

this Act, enter into an agreement (however described) with one or

settlement provision.
