The Parliament of Australia enacts:

1 Short title

This Act may be cited as the Therapeutic Goods Amendment
5
(Repeal of Ministerial responsibility for approval of RU486) Act
6
2005.

2 Commencement

This Act commences on the day on which it receives the Royal
9
Assent.

3 Purpose

The purpose of this Act is to remove the responsibility for approval
12
of RU486 from the Minister and to provide responsibility for
13
approval of RU486 to the Therapeutic Goods Administration.
