A Bill for an Act to amend the Trade Practices Act
1974, and for related purposes
The Parliament of Australia enacts:
This Act may be cited as the Trade Practices Amendment (Small Business
Protection) Act 2002.
This Act commences on the day on which it receives the Royal
Assent.
Each Act that is specified in a Schedule to this Act is amended or
repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any
other item in a Schedule to this Act has effect according to its
terms.
1 Paragraph 87(1A)(b)
Omit “(other than section 45D or 45E)”.
2 Paragraph 87(1B)(a)
Omit “(other than section 45D or 45E)”.
3 Application
The amendments made by this Schedule apply only to conduct engaged in after
the commencement of this Schedule.
