ABORIGINAL AND TORRES STRAIT ISLANDER ACT 2005 - SECT 192K

Appointment

  (1)   There is to be a Chief Executive Officer of the Indigenous Land and Sea Corporation, who is to be appointed by the Indigenous Land and Sea Corporation Board.

Day - to - day administration

  (2)   Subject to subsection   ( 3), the Indigenous Land and Sea Corporation Chief Executive Officer must manage the day - to - day administration of the Indigenous Land and Sea Corporation.

Board's policies and directions

  (3)   The Indigenous Land and Sea Corporation Chief Executive Officer must, in:

  (a)   managing the administration of the Indigenous Land and Sea Corporation; and

  (b)   exercising any powers conferred on the Chief Executive Officer by this Act;

act in accordance with any policies determined, and any directions given, by the Indigenous Land and Sea Corporation Board in writing.
