Commonwealth Consolidated Acts Commonwealth Consolidated Acts(1) The Aboriginal Advancement Account is established for the purpose of furthering the social and economic advancement of Aboriginal people living in Victoria .
(2) The Account is a special account for the purposes of the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013 .
(3) There must be credited to the Account amounts determined by the regulations.
(4) Amounts standing to the credit of the Account must be debited from the Account for the purposes of the making by the Commonwealth of payments to further the social and economic advancement of Aboriginal people living in Victoria .
(5) If interest is received by the Commonwealth from the
investment of an amount standing to the credit of the Account, an amount equal
to the interest must be credited to the Account.
