Commonwealth Consolidated Acts Commonwealth Consolidated Acts For the purposes of the application of section 29 of the
Acts Interpretation Act 1901 to the service by post of a detention notice
under this Subdivision on a person, such a notice posted as a letter addressed
to that person at the last address of that person known to the sender is taken
to be properly addressed.
