CORPORATIONS ACT 2001 - SECT 201D

Consent to act as director

  (1)   A company contravenes this subsection if a person does not give the company a signed consent to act as a director of the company before being appointed.

  (2)   The company must keep the consent.

  (3)   An offence based on subsection   (1) or (2) is an offence of strict liability.
