Commonwealth Consolidated Acts Commonwealth Consolidated Acts(1) The regulations or the legislative rules may make provision for a registered native title body corporate to consult, and act in accordance with the directions of, the common law holders in relation to anything done by the registered native title body corporate under, or in connection with:
(a) this Act, the regulations or the legislative rules; or
(b) the Australian National Registry of Emissions Units Act 2011 or regulations or legislative rules under that Act.
(2) The regulations or the legislative rules may make provision for a registered native title body corporate to be the agent of the common law holders for the purposes of giving a consent under this Act, the regulations or the legislative rules.
