Commonwealth Consolidated Acts Commonwealth Consolidated Acts(1) A member who has a conflict of interest in relation to a matter being considered or about to be considered by the Board must disclose the matters giving rise to that conflict to the Board as soon as possible after becoming aware of the conflict.
(2) The member must not take part in the making of a decision by the Board in relation to the matter unless the Director agrees or, if the member is the Director, the Minister agrees.
(3) For the purposes of this section, a member has a conflict of
interest in relation to a matter being considered or about to be considered by
the Board if the member has any interest, pecuniary or otherwise, that could
conflict with the proper performance of the member's functions in relation
to that matter.
