Commonwealth Consolidated Acts Commonwealth Consolidated Acts(1) A member of the Review Board who has a conflict of interest in relation to a matter being considered or about to be considered by the Review Board must disclose the matters giving rise to that conflict to the Review Board as soon as possible after becoming aware of the conflict.
(2) The member must not take part in the making of a decision by the Review Board in relation to the matter unless the Convenor agrees or, if the member is the Convenor, the Minister agrees.
(3) For the purposes of this section, a member of the
Review Board has a conflict of interest in relation to a matter being
considered or about to be considered by the Review Board if the member has any
interest, pecuniary or otherwise, that could conflict with the proper
performance of the member's functions in relation to that matter.
