Commonwealth Consolidated Acts Commonwealth Consolidated ActsThe Model Law has the force of law in Australia as if the Model Law referred to whichever of the following is appropriate:
(a) the trustee (within the meaning of subsection 5(1) of the Bankruptcy Act 1966 );
(b) a registered liquidator (within the meaning of section 9 of the Corporations Act 2001 );
wherever the Model Law indicates that the title of the person or body
administering a reorganization or liquidation under the law of the enacting
State is to be inserted.
