COMMONWEALTH OF AUSTRALIA CONSTITUTION ACT - SECT 28
Duration of House of Representatives.
Every House of Representatives shall continue for three years
from the first meeting of the House, and no longer, but may be sooner
dissolved by the Governor-General.
