Commonwealth Consolidated Acts Commonwealth Consolidated Acts(1) An action, suit or proceeding (whether criminal or civil) does not lie against a security officer or an authorised court officer in relation to an act done, or omitted to be done, in good faith by the officer in the performance or exercise, or the purported performance or exercise, of any function, duty or power under, or in relation to, this Act.
(2) Subsection (1) does not relieve the Commonwealth or
an employer of the officer of any civil liability the Commonwealth or employer
would have had for the officer's act or omission apart from that
subsection.
