Commonwealth Consolidated Acts Commonwealth Consolidated Acts(1) A Tribunal member has, in performing his or her functions or exercising his or her powers as a Tribunal member, the same protection and immunity as a Justice of the High Court.
(2) A person representing another person before the Tribunal has the same protection and immunity as a barrister has in appearing for a party in proceedings in the High Court.
(3) A person summoned to attend, or appearing, before the
Tribunal to give evidence or make submissions has the same protection, and is
(in addition to the penalties provided by this Part) subject to the same
liabilities, as a witness in proceedings in the High Court.
