DEFENCE ACT 1903 - SECT 88

                   A person who is appearing as a witness before a service tribunal commits an offence if:

                     (a)  the person gives evidence; and

                     (b)  the evidence is false or misleading; and

                     (c)  the person knows that the evidence is false or misleading.

Penalty:  Imprisonment for 6 months or 10 penalty units, or both.
