Commonwealth Consolidated Acts Commonwealth Consolidated Acts(1) The existing organisations concerned in a proposed amalgamation, and any association proposed to be registered as an organisation under the amalgamation, must jointly lodge with the FWC an application for approval for the submission of the amalgamation to ballot.
(2) The application must be accompanied by:
(a) a copy of the scheme for the amalgamation; and
(b) a written outline of the scheme.
(3) Subject to section 62, the outline must, in no more than 3,000 words, provide sufficient information on the scheme to enable members of the existing organisations to make informed decisions in relation to the scheme.
