Commonwealth Consolidated Acts Commonwealth Consolidated Acts(1) The Authority shall cause to be issued to each inspector, other than a member of a police force, an identity card in the form approved in an instrument under subsection (1A) and that contains a photograph of the holder.
(1A) The CEO may, by notifiable instrument, approve a form for the purposes of subsection (1).
(2) A person who ceases to be an inspector must not fail to return his or her identity card to the Authority as soon as practicable after ceasing to be an inspector.
(2A) An offence under subsection (2) is an offence of strict liability.

(2B) Subsection (2) does not apply if the person has a reasonable excuse.
