Commonwealth Consolidated Acts Commonwealth Consolidated Acts(1) A Special Rate Disability Pension is an ongoing weekly payment (other than a payment under the Return to Work Scheme in section 210) that can be paid to certain persons instead of compensation worked out under Division 2 of Part 4.
(2) The maximum weekly amount of a
Special Rate Disability Pension is one half of the fortnightly rate at which a
pension is payable from time to time under section 24 of the
Veterans' Entitlements Act 1986 .
