Commonwealth Consolidated Acts Commonwealth Consolidated Acts(1) Compensation under section 214 or 217 for household services or attendant care services is payable to:
(a) the person who made the claim for compensation; or
(b) if that person so directs:
(i) the person who provided, or will provide, the services; or
(ii) any other person who incurred, or will incur, the cost of the services.
Note: A special rule applies if a trustee is appointed under section 432.
(2) A payment under section 214 or 217 to a person who
provided, or will provide, the services discharges any liability of any other
person for the cost of the services to the extent of the payment.
