Commonwealth Consolidated Acts Commonwealth Consolidated Acts(1) A petroleum special prospecting authority comes into force on the day specified in the authority as the day on which the authority is to come into force.
(2) A petroleum special prospecting authority remains in force for the period specified in the authority.
(3) The period specified under subsection (2) must not be longer than 180 days.
(4) Subsection (2) has effect subject to this Chapter.
