Commonwealth Consolidated Acts Commonwealth Consolidated Acts(1) The responsible Commonwealth Minister may grant a written greenhouse gas research consent authorising a person to carry on, in an offshore area, the following operations in the course of a scientific investigation:
(a) operations relating to the exploration for potential greenhouse gas storage formations;
(b) operations relating to the exploration for potential greenhouse gas injection sites.
(2) The person is the holder of the consent.
