OFFSHORE PETROLEUM AND GREENHOUSE GAS STORAGE ACT 2006 - SECT 695A

  (1)   There is to be a National Offshore Petroleum Titles Administrator.

Note 1:   In this Act, Titles Administrator means the National Offshore Petroleum Titles Administrator--see section   7.

Note 2:   The National Offshore Petroleum Titles Administrator may also be appointed as the Offshore Infrastructure Registrar (see section   153 of the Offshore Electricity Infrastructure Act 2021 ).

  (2)   The Titles Administrator is to be a person who is:

  (a)   an SES employee in the Department; and

  (b)   specified in a written instrument made by the Secretary.

  (3)   An instrument under paragraph   (2)(b) is not a legislative instrument.
