Commonwealth Consolidated Acts Commonwealth Consolidated Acts(1) The courts of a State are invested with federal jurisdiction in all matters arising under the laws applied under section 80 in the offshore area of the State.
Note: The offshore area of a State is defined by section 8.
(2) Jurisdiction is invested under subsection (1) within
the limits (other than the limits of locality) of the jurisdiction of the
court (whether those limits are limits as to subject matter or otherwise).
