ONLINE SAFETY ACT 2021 - SECT 164

Enforceable provisions

  (1)   The following provisions of this Act are enforceable under Part   6 of the Regulatory Powers (Standard Provisions) Act 2014 :

  (a)   section   5 0 ;

  (b)   section   5 3 ;

  (c)   section   5 7 ;

  (d)   section   6 0 ;

  (e)   section   6 7 ;

  (f)   section   7 5 ;

  (g)   section   8 0 ;

  (h)   section   8 3 ;

  (i)   section   9 1 ;

  (j)   section   1 03 ;

  (k)   section   1 11 ;

  (l)   section   1 16 ;

  (m)   section   1 21 ;

  (n)   section   1 25 ;

  (o)   section   1 29 ;

  (p)   section   1 43 ;

  (q)   section   1 46 .

Authorised person

  (2)   The Commissioner is an authorised person in relation to the provisions mentioned in subsection   ( 1) for the purposes of Part   6 of the Regulatory Powers (Standard Provisions) Act 2014 .

Relevant court

  (3)   The Federal Court of Australia and the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (Division   2) are relevant courts in relation to the provisions mentioned in subsection   ( 1) for the purposes of Part   6 of the Regulatory Powers (Standard Provisions) Act 2014 .

Extension to external Territories etc.

  (4)   Part   6 of the Regulatory Powers (Standard Provisions) Act 2014 , as it applies in relation to the provisions mentioned in subsection   ( 1), extends to:

  (a)   every external Territory; and

  (b)   acts, omissions, matters and things outside Australia.
