ONLINE SAFETY ACT 2021 - SECT 192

    The purposes of the Online Safety Special Account are as follows:

  (a)   to enhance online safety for Australians;

  (b)   to make grants under paragraph   27 (1)(g);

  (c)   to pay:

  (i)   remuneration, and other employment - related costs and expenses, in respect of APS employees whose duties relate to the performance of the Commissioner's functions or the exercise of the Commissioner's powers; and

  (ii)   any other costs, expenses and other obligations incurred by the Commonwealth in connection with the performance of the Commissioner's functions or the exerci se of the Commissioner's powers.
