PARLIAMENTARY PRESIDING OFFICERS ACT 1965 - SECT 2

    In this Act:

"Deputy Presiding Officer" means:

  (a)   in relation to the Senate--the Deputy President and Chair of Committees ;

  (b)   in relation to the House of Representatives--the Deputy Speaker.

"Presiding Officer" means:

  (a)   in relation to the Senate--the President of the Senate;

  (b)   in relation to the House of Representatives--the Speaker of the House of Representatives.
