Commonwealth Consolidated Acts Commonwealth Consolidated Acts(1) A member of the Reserve Bank Board shall, before entering upon his or her duties or exercising any power under this Act, make, before a Justice of the Peace or a Commissioner for taking Affidavits, an oath or affirmation of allegiance in accordance with the form in the Schedule to the Constitution and a declaration of secrecy in accordance with the prescribed form.
(2) However, the member does not have to do so if he or she is
also a member of the Payments System Board and has made an oath or
affirmation, and a declaration of secrecy, under section 25E.
