REFERENDUM (MACHINERY PROVISIONS) ACT 1984 - SECT 100
Disputing validity of submission or return
The validity of any referendum or of any return or statement
showing the voting at a referendum may be disputed by the Commonwealth, by any
State, by the Australian Capital Territory or by the Northern Territory by
petition addressed to the High Court.
