Commonwealth Consolidated Acts Commonwealth Consolidated ActsWhere a person has become entitled to a benefit under this Act, but the payment of the benefit cannot be made or commence to be made by reason that the rate or the amount of that benefit has not been ascertained, CSC may, upon application in writing being made to it, direct that an interim payment or interim payments be made to the person, at such rate or rates, or in such amount or amounts, as it determines, and any interim payment so made shall be deemed to be a payment made in respect of that benefit.
