Commonwealth Consolidated Acts Commonwealth Consolidated Acts(1) If a provision of the social security law requires that a written notice be given to a person, it is sufficient compliance with that provision if the notice is given in a manner approved by the Secretary.
(2) Nothing in subsection (1) prevents a notice being given in accordance with section 28A of the Acts Interpretation Act 1901 .
