Commonwealth Consolidated Acts Commonwealth Consolidated Acts(1) The ACMA or the ACCC may, by written notice given to a person who is:
(a) a carriage service provider; or
(b) a carrier; or
(c) a person of a kind determined by the Minister in a legislative instrument;
direct the person to comply with a rule or process published by the numbering scheme manager.
(2) The person must comply with the direction.
(3) Subsection (2) is a civil penalty provision.
Note: Part 31 provides for pecuniary penalties for breaches of civil penalty provisions.
(4) A direction under subsection (1) is not a legislative instrument.
